What is the SRK, and how do we help?
The Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz (SRK) is the only organization in Switzerland authorized to recognize foreign physiotherapy diplomas. Without SRK recognition, you cannot work as a physiotherapist in Switzerland. The process normally takes 9-12 months and requires many specific documents and procedures.

PreCheck: we submit on your behalf
The SRK PreCheck is mandatory for everyone, but we make it easy. We check that all your documents are complete, submit the PreCheck to the SRK on your behalf, and monitor the process.
Upload your documents to the platform and you get our feedback almost immediately. Thanks to our experience, we can see straight away whether your PreCheck will sail through or whether the SRK is likely to request additional documents.
Once we have reviewed your documents, you can start preparing for the next phase. We advise on any extra documents you might need, because every situation is different.
The SRK takes 4-6 weeks to assess the PreCheck, but with our guidance you know where you stand in advance. We handle all communication with the SRK for you.
Complete application: preventing mistakes
Building your complete SRK file is critical. A single mistake can cost months, which is why we check everything before it goes to the SRK.

During the SRK process: we stay involved
While the SRK reviews your file (3-4 months), we remain active. We monitor the status of your application, answer questions as they come up, and help with any follow-up document requests. We also prepare you for possible next steps, such as compensatory measures.
Do you need a B2 language certificate?
For anyone who is not a native speaker of German, French or Italian, and who did not complete secondary or higher education in one of these languages, a B2 language certificate is a required part of SRK recognition.
Do not have it yet when you apply? No problem: you will receive temporary recognition that already allows you to start working. You can keep learning the language in parallel.
